Prior to discovering A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle I was in a terrible place in my life, suffering from depression and in the middle of a separation. I felt like I had destroyed my childrens life, and there was no where to go.

I contemplated suicide almost everyday and didn't believe I could have a life, never mind a happy one. Happy was a foreign word to me.

I joined Oprah's Book club series for The New Earth with Eckhart Tolle and he totally changed my view of thinking. I was so living in the past and future, that I don't think I realized there even was a present. My ego was living life instead of me, it had me locked in with my depression and my fear and keeping me there with lies.

Well I finally saw the truth and I've been on a continual healing process ever since. It's been very hard but so worth it. I can honestly say that I am happy most of the time. I still fight my depression but I am getting better.

Now I try to live in the present and have gratitude for what I have. I feel I owe Eckhart Tolle my life.

I highly recommend The New Earth. There are so many gems in this book, and the more you read and reread it, you always find something more.

I loved A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle and it made much more sense than the equally impressive Power of Now by the same author.

A New Earth is much simpler to understand.

I will read it again, and again, and again...
