Change Your Questions by Marilee Adams

by Geoff
(Queensland, Australia)

Change Your Questions, Change Your Life by Marilee Adams made me stop what I was doing and re-assess many things. My life, my goals, my vision for the future. Everything.

It opened my eyes to how much of our future is dictated to by the questions we ask ourselves, often subconsciously. Two questions for me were:

* What do I want out of life?
* Where do I want to contribute the most energy and time?

I had asked them of myself many years ago and had answered them with what I thought were inspiring life goals. As it turns out, life changes.

My questions were not forgotten, just tucked away and I was working on making my answers (the first set to those questions) a reality. The trouble was, life had changed and the questions needed to be asked again, this time, without having any preconceived answers in mind.

I did just that after reading this great personal development book by Marilee Adams. And during the last few years my life and achievements have been more meaningful, passionate, productive and enjoyable.

Some of the outcomes are:

* a better relationship with my wife
* more involvement with my children (one at home, one left)
* placing more importance on keeping in touch with family and friends,
* building a personal development/self improvement website to share my story

My suggestion would be that if you seem to have stalled in your life, then grab a copy of Change Your Questions, Change Your Life and see what is in store for you.

Ask Quality Questions
by: Cath

Thanks for sharing Geoff,

It's often said that the quality of the answers we get hinges on the quality of questions we ask.

So, if WE want change in our lives, the concept of changing the questions we ask certainly makes a lot of sense!

Sounds like a valuable personal development book to check out.
