It's Another Day for You and Me
in Paradise

I was fretting and fuming over the non functioning of the air conditioner in my cabin.

After a while my patience wore thin, and frustrated I pushed the blinds to the other side to open the window.

Just then down the road I saw an old lady walking bare footed on the road. Perhaps she was walking from one apartment to the other to complete her domestic chores.

I sighed, the time was 2pm.

Slowly I turned around and opened the window while shutting my mouth and silently getting back to my seat.

Scorching sun and the heat, yet she was going about her work bare footed!!

Unlike me complaining in my mind... she was going about her life as another day on the sunny street.

It did not really matter that soon the power was on and the air conditioner working.
