Love for No Reason by Marci Shimoff

Marci Shimoff writes Love for no Reason: 7 steps to creating a Life of Unconditional Love with a stirring hope and conviction. It's obvious that she knows the power and richness of unconditional love, and it's her passion to help spread it's wealth to the world.

Power to Change by Marianne Williamson

Power to Change by Marianne Williamson delves into where real power comes from, how to access it, and what it entails.

Williamson outlines the folly of man in falsely believing that power lays in man, or in the world. She compares worldly power to the wings of a sparrow. Rather, she explains, true power is from the creative which comparatively offers us the wings of an eagle.

Signs of True Love

The signs of true love are delved into by Gary Chapman in his book 'Love as a Way of Life: The Seven Secrets Behind Every Language of Love'. Gary Chapman has shed powerful light on loving relationships with his books on the Five Love Languages. In Love as a Way of Life he shares a fabulous concept... bringing love into your life everyday, everywhere!

The Light Workers Way by Doreen Virtue

The Lightworkers Way by Doreen Virtue is a book I'd never heard of before the day that I found it on my desk. Subtitled 'Awakening your spiritual power to know and heal', I wondered if the person who left it there knew something that he thought I should also know.

The Traveller's Gift By Andy Andrews

In The Traveler's Gift author Andy Andrews has skilfully woven an imaginary tale with powerful life lessons. In this book Andy Andrews draws the reader in, painting intriguing scenes and characters where David lands, from battle fields to store houses of abandoned dreams.

The Celestine Prophecy

In The Celestine Prophecy, the first book of the celestine series, Redfield shares a delightful sense of adventure, hope, and higher vision for humanity.

The Celestine Vision Living The New Spiritual Awareness

Although you might think The Celestine Vision 'outdated' because it was written in 1997, like so many personal development books, it's timeless. In many regards, the world is just catching up to this one!

The Passion Test

You can relax... it's impossible to fail The Passion Test! Authors Janet and Chris Attwood's guide to finding your passion outlines a task that is achievable for everyone. And not only is it achievable, it is a fun journey that I'll definitely be trekking again.

The Speed of Trust

When I heard about The Speed of Trust, The One Thing That Changes Everything, by Stephen M. R. Covey I immediately and wholeheartedly welcomed the concept... on the title alone. One of my favorite little mantra's is 'I trust life and all that it brings to me', so this resonated nicely. Covey is simply singling people out as one of the powerful lighting rods for trust in life.

The Gabriel Method

The Gabriel Method by Jon Gabriel is a brilliant and timely book of reason. It offers solid insight into transforming your body to a vision of health, no matter what you presently look like.

The Gift of Story

Clarissa Pinkola Estes has written many inspirational stories and books, and The Gift of Story is another perfect example. Subtitled 'A Wise Tale About What is Enough', Estes asks a big question about life and how you decide to live it.

Simple Abundance, A Daybook of Comfort and Joy

The Simple Abundance book is an empowering and encouraging read from day one. As Sarah explains in her foreword, the act of writing it delivered the same sort of grace in her life as it offers the reader. She admits to having begun the work as a somewhat 'frazzled, depressed, worn to a raveling' woman.

Illusions Richard Bach

In Illusions Richard Bach takes you on 'The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah', just as the subtitle suggests. Get ready to fasten your biplane seat belt. Bach has an easy going style of sharing his thought provoking personal development message. Rather than preach, he teases and cajoles, questions, and yes... answers.

Bruce Lipton Introduces Spontaneous Evolution

In their new work, Spontaneous Evolution, Bruce Lipton and Steve Bhaerman suggest that the dinosaurs are going to become extinct... again. Metaphorically speaking of course. Spontaneous evolution is an inspiring work that serves up a new way of reflecting on where humanity has been, and where we are going.

Bruce Lipton Outlines The Biology of Belief

In 'The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter, & Miracles', Bruce Lipton, (a renowned cell biologist), takes us by the hand and explains how our understanding of biology began, and how it has faltered to keep pace with other discoveries within quantum physics and electro-chemistry.

Global Warming Facts and Fallacies

You would not generally expect to find The Climate Caper, 'global warming facts and fallacies' by Garth W. Paltridge, on a typical shelf full of personal development books. However, in my opinion, it is certainly worth making an exception for this book!

Guy Finley - The Essential Laws of Fearless Living

Guy Finley is a thinker... a deep thinker. Happily for us, he shares his thoughts, and as well he offers complimentary self development resources, as you see
to the right :). Guy has written the thought provoking book, The Essential Laws of Fearless Living, to help set us free from illusion. You might say it's a road map out of the matrix.

Five Love Languages

Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman is in my category of eye opening self help books. There are certainly some things that you don't know that you don't know... until you know about them! And yes, learning about the 5 love languages, and how they impact lives, has been one such insight for me.

The Alchemist Paulo Coelho

In The Alchemist Paulo Coelho takes us along on a journey as young Santiago follows his personal legend. Through determination, courage, and an unfailing passion to live his dreams, Santiago discovers the secrets of success.

Go Givers

The title Go Givers Sell More by Bob Burg & John David Mann indicates it's about sales, but don't jump to a conclusion that it's only for salespeople. This personal development book is for everyone.

The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall

Jim Stovall is the amazing human being and best selling author of The Ultimate Gift, which has subsequently been made into an award winning feature film (now available as The Ultimate Gift dvd).

A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson

A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson is a wonderful over view of the potent healing power of unconditional love. Williamson offers abundant thought provoking insights to help you find your way out of illusion and fear, and relax into the true peace and power of love.

Random Acts of Kindness by Conari Press

Practicing Random Acts of Kindness initially got a blaze of publicity decades ago, and it was in the early 1990's when a book with this title was published. In reading this engaging book it's easy to see that it's one of those personal development books that moves people to get involved.
