The New Children

Joyful children everywhere
Living life without a care
Pure and innocent as they grow
Not remembering what they know

And yet they do remember as they think afar
A little of who they really are
For experiences anew to begin
They need adjustment to their kin

So, as you look into their eyes
The wise souls they are, you will recognise
One day soon they will lead the world
Towards a new humanity that is strong, wise and bold

Celebrate with them their roles to come
Humanity is safe with these younger ones
Today, tomorrow and days after that
Bringing us to a new and wondrous habitat
