Who's Taking Your Money?

by Jeremy Britton Dip FA SA (Fin)

Jeremy Britton & Paul Clitheroe

Jeremy Britton & Paul Clitheroe

Who's Taking Your Money? (and how to get some of it back) by Jeremy Britton, is more than a financial 'how-to'. This book touches on all areas of holistic wealth creation, including areas on relationships, health and spirituality.

Using simple language, readers are introduced to some age-old techniques and the wisdom of wealth, as taught in ancient manuscripts.

Chapters on 'karma', sowing & reaping and the Circle of Wealth are interspersed with technical information that allows a reader to become a 'do it yourself' (DIY) stock picker or create wealth using shares and property.

A quote from the book: "You cannot help the poor by being poor...". Get more so that you can give more!

Pass the Parcel
by: Cath

Who?s Taking Your money is an enjoyable, easy and entertaining read. Not too many financial volumes I'd say that about :).

One of my favorite talks in the book is where Jeremy Britton likens the ?pass the parcel? game to the way we play with money. The idea basically is that you make money and spend it with someone else who makes it from you and spends it with someone else, etc. Ostensibly, your money comes back to you from someone that wants your goods/services.

It is such a simple concept and to me it encourages wise spending. I know that I'm giving value to those that are spending money with me... and I want to know that where I spend my money, I'm getting equal value.

If we want to think globally, that value can extend into 'what the value is to the world'. As we make money and we spend money, our spending puts more demand on the things we buy, and more is made. So we want to ensure that the things we are 'demanding' are good for ourselves, others, the environment, and the world.

Making money and spending money definitely feed one another, and they feed the economy. Let's make sure we are feeding an economy that can support the world with health and vitality. :)

Thanks Jeremy for stirring up some great concepts for furthering our personal development, and sharing them.
